The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Chief Ministers’ Conclave, held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, brought together chief ministers and deputy chief ministers from NDA-ruled states to discuss critical issues of good governance, national security, and inclusive development.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers K.V. Singhdeo and Pravati Parida, actively participated in the event, highlighting Odisha’s transformative initiatives while drawing inspiration from the developmental models of other states.

The conclave served as a platform for knowledge exchange, allowing state leaders to share successful strategies and innovative policies aimed at fostering holistic growth. Chief Minister Majhi presented Odisha’s ambitious roadmap, particularly the ‘Odisha Vision 2036 and 2047,’ which aims to establish the state as a leading economic powerhouse by prioritising tourism, agriculture, energy, and infrastructure development. The vision underscores Odisha’s commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth, aligning with the broader national goal of building a prosperous and empowered India.

In a statement shared on his X platform, Majhi emphasised the productive discussions held during the conclave, which focused on good governance, inclusive development, and notable state-led initiatives. He highlighted the opportunity to showcase Odisha’s impactful projects and learn from the success stories of other NDA-ruled states. “This conclave was a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas on governance, national security, and inclusive development. We are committed to working collaboratively to build a prosperous and strong India,” Majhi stated.

The event also facilitated brainstorming on innovative proposals and actionable steps to strengthen cooperative federalism. Odisha’s delegation gained valuable insights into scalable development models, which could further enhance the state’s ongoing efforts to create new opportunities in key sectors. The conclave underscored the importance of cooperation and experience-sharing among NDA-ruled states to drive India’s progress toward becoming a developed nation.

Odisha’s participation in the conclave reflects its proactive approach to aligning state-level initiatives with national priorities. The ‘Odisha Vision 2036 and 2047’ received significant attention, with Majhi outlining plans to bolster the state’s economy through strategic investments and policy reforms. The focus on tourism, agriculture, and infrastructure development is expected to create new avenues for employment and economic growth, positioning Odisha as a key contributor to India’s development narrative.

The conclave concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to work collaboratively toward achieving a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India). For Odisha, the event marked a significant step in fostering partnerships and adopting best practices to accelerate its development trajectory. Chief Minister Majhi described the conclave as a “milestone” in promoting synergy among NDA-ruled states, reinforcing their collective resolve to contribute to India’s growth story.
