Security forces neutralised three terrorists in Nader Tral, Awantipora, Pulwama district. Acting on intelligence inputs, forces launched a cordon and search operation, leading to a fierce gun battle.
Authorities recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition, including AK-47 rifles, grenades, and sophisticated weaponry used by militant groups. According to officials, the neutralised terrorists were linked to Hizbul Mujahideen, a banned outfit.
This marks another critical success in ongoing efforts to curb terrorism in the region, following the recent Operation Keller, which eliminated Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives in Shopian. Security forces remain vigilant as intelligence indicates further threats are looming in the Valley.
