The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially unveiled its exam calendar for 2025-26, listing out key dates for major competitive exams, including Civil Services, NDA, CDS, and more.
Aspiring candidates for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) should note that the Preliminary Exam is set for May 24, 2026, while the Mains Examination will commence from August 21, 2026. The official notification for the UPSC CSE 2026 will be released on January 14, 2026, with applications open until February 3, 2026.
Additionally, the Indian Forest Service (Prelims) will also be conducted on the same day as CSE Prelims. Candidates looking to appear for the NDA and CDS (I) exams must mark April 12, 2026, in their calendars, while the second round of these exams will be held on September 13, 2026.
