Bhubaneswar: The Group B post of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) in the Odisha Secretariat Service is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after jobs in the State. Hence, the anticipation surrounding the result of the ASO recruitment written examination is equally high.
The written examination to fill up as many as 796 (265 women) ASO posts was conducted by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on August 27, and the result is expected to be announced next month.
However, aspirants who took part in the recruitment examination are growing impatient with each passing days and want the OPSC to announce the exact date of publication of the result.
OPSC strives to stick to the committed timeline. Since the results are to be published by end of Nov, in all likelihood the written results should be published by the first week of Nov.
