Popular Tamil actor Vishal faced a sudden health emergency when he collapsed on stage at an event in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu.
The incident occurred during Miss Koovagam 2025, an annual celebration for the transgender community, where Vishal was invited as the Chief Guest.
Eyewitnesses report that Vishal lost consciousness during the festivities, prompting immediate medical assistance from attendees. Former minister K. Ponmudi ensured his swift transfer to a nearby hospital for urgent care. Vishal has since regained stability and is recovering well.
Reports suggest that the actor had only consumed juice before the event, which may have contributed to his collapse. Fans have expressed concerns over his health, particularly after his recent battle with dengue in January 2025. Despite ongoing speculation about his well-being, Vishal reassured supporters that claims about long-term health complications were inaccurate.
His latest film, Madha Gaja Raja, originally slated for release in 2013, finally premiered in theatres earlier this year.
