Wonderla Holidays Ltd., India’s largest amusement park chain, has announced the launch of two new attractions – “Funky Monkey” and “Wonderla Bamba” – at its park in Bhubaneswar.
With these additions, Wonderla Bhubaneswar now boasts 23 land and water attractions, solidifying its status as Odisha’s largest amusement park. Timed for the summer season, the new rides reflect Wonderla’s commitment to expanding its range of high-thrill and family-friendly experiences.
The launch was celebrated at the park with a special event featuring popular actor and singer Babushaan Mohanty, along with Arun K. Chittilappilly, Executive Chairman and Managing Director; Dheeran Choudhary, COO; and Kalpataru Nayak, Park Head of Bhubaneswar, Wonderla Holidays Ltd.
Key Highlights of the New Attractions:
Funky Monkey: This attraction is specifically designed for children, standing at a height of 7 meters. It features a cabin that accommodates up to 6 kids and offers smooth upward and downward motions for an exciting yet safe experience. Each seat is equipped with secure lap locks to ensure maximum safety during the 3-minute adventure.
Wonderla Bamba: This thrilling ride can accommodate 18 passengers and delivers a captivating 360-degree rotation experience in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions, reaching speeds of up to [insert speed] and heights of 5.5 meters. Safety is prioritized, with shoulder locks securing each rider throughout the 2-minute and 30-second journey.

As part of its Summer Campaign 2025, Wonderla Bhubaneswar has introduced the Night Park experience for the first time, allowing guests to enjoy the park under the stars from 7 PM to 10 PM. Entry is available through standalone passes or nominal upgrades on day tickets.

Additionally, Wonderla’s beloved Aamras Festival is returning with a delicious menu featuring regional favourites such as aamras puri, aamras shake, aam kalassi, and aam rabdi jalebi.
To enhance the festive atmosphere, a pool DJ will provide musical entertainment, while various craft workshops and games will offer creative engagement opportunities for visitors of all ages.
