Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha will experience heavy rainfall activities in the next 24 hours, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) today.
According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Cuttack in the next 24 hours.
The Met department has also issued a yellow warning in this regard.
Similarly, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada,Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Cuttack tomorrow.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj on the same day, added the IMD.
