A couple was killed and three others sustained critical injuries after a bricks-laden tractor turned turtle on Golamunda road under Gunupur police limits in Rayagada district on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Chaita Sabar (45) and his wife Mamita Sabar of Ampara village.
The couple died on the spot. The other three injured were admitted to Gunupur Hospital. Among the seriously injured, Chandrabati Sabar has been shifted to Paralakhemundi Hospital for further treatment.
On receiving the information, Gunapur police reached the spot and seized the bodies for post-mortem.
