Cuttack: The prime accused in Mahanga’s Kusupur mass murder case, Shiba Prasad Sahu confessed to his crime on Friday and recreated the crime scene before police.
The court has granted a 3-day police remand of the accused in this case. During the scene recreation, he demonstrated the entire episode one after the other without any hesitance.
“Sahu killed his brother Alekh Sahu, his wife and three children with the help of a machette. While recreating the crime scenes for a mock demo of his modus operandi of the fivesome murder, he admitted that he had committed the crime single-handedly as he nursed a grudge against his brother over a property dispute,” said Cuttack Rural ASP, Ashok Kumar Behera.
