The controversy erupted after host Rohit Shetty—stepping in for Salman Khan—and ScoutOP’s girlfriend, gamer Kaashvi Hiranandani, confronted ScoutOP regarding his close bond and physical proximity with co-contestant Love Gill during Sunday’s episode.
Kamya Punjabi Calls Out Toxic Double Standards
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, October 26, 2026, former Bigg Boss contestant Kamya Punjabi criticized the online backlash targeting Love Gill. Punjabi argued that the responsibility to maintain relationship boundaries rests squarely on the committed partner rather than the other woman.
”If the bond was real, he would set boundaries, not cut ties,” Punjabi wrote. “Blaming the other girl for ‘manipulation’ just to protect your own committed partner is disgusting and small-minded. Stop pulling another woman down to save your man. Hold him accountable!”
In a subsequent post, Punjabi also called out ScoutOP’s online fan base and PR machinery, warning that aggressive fan attacks and account suspension tactics would backfire and damage his game.
Love Gill’s Team Denounces ‘Public Character Execution’
Echoing similar sentiments, Love Gill’s official management team issued a detailed statement via Instagram Stories, calling the television confrontation a “public execution of her character” and describing her family as “shattered.”
Gill’s team highlighted that Love had maintained clear boundaries from day one, repeatedly viewing ScoutOP in a brotherly light, while society continues to apply toxic double standards when a man blurs those lines.
”Why is a grown man treated like a victim of hypnosis, while a girl is painted as a calculated temptress?” the statement questioned. “Why is she expected to carry the burden, the shame, and the humiliation for feelings she never asked for and never reciprocated?”
The statement comes after Kaashvi Hiranandani expressed disgust during her appearance on the show alongside Rohit Shetty, questioning ScoutOP over instances where he was seen massaging Gill’s hands, feet, and neck. While ScoutOP maintained their bond was sibling-like, a recent promo suggests his relationship with Gill has dissolved after he failed to take a stand for her during the broadcast.
