The Baleshwar police have successfully solved the sensational rape and murder case of a minor girl in Jaleswar, confirming the arrest of the prime accused, identified as Chandrakant Jena.
Addressing a press meet, the Superintendent of Police (SP) revealed chilling details of the crime. According to the police investigation, the accused lured the victim into a nearby jungle and forced her to establish physical relations. When the minor girl strongly resisted and explicitly told him that she did not love him, the enraged accused brutally assaulted and raped her before strangling her to death.
Police confirmed that Chandrakant Jena acted alone, stating that no evidence has been found linking any other individuals to the heinous crime so far. The swift police action has brought the perpetrator to justice, while the local community continues to mourn the tragic loss of the young life.
