Odisha’s Joint Grievance Camps: Meet Your District Collector, SP on April 7!

The Odisha government has announced that joint grievance hearing camps will be held across all districts on Monday, April 7, 2025, to address public complaints directly with District Collectors and Superintendents of Police (SPs).

Online registration for these camps will commence on April 4 at 11:00 AM through the Janasunani portal (https://janasunani.odisha.gov.in/), enabling citizens to book slots to meet their respective district officials.

The initiative aims to streamline the grievance redressal process, ensuring faster resolution of public issues. Citizens can register on the portal, bringing their registration receipt, personal identification, and grievance letter to the designated venue at the specified time. For those unable to register online, the camps will also accept grievance letters directly on the day of the event, ensuring inclusivity in the process. The hearings will take place from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM in each district, providing a dedicated window for citizens to voice their concerns.

According to the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, this initiative will enhance the efficiency of the grievance redressal system and expedite resolutions.

The joint camps are part of Odisha’s broader efforts to improve governance and public service delivery, ensuring that citizens’ concerns are addressed promptly and effectively by senior district officials.
