The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to extend financial support of 50% on Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the purchase of goods from Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB) as a welfare measure, effective from 1st April 2024.
Personnel of Central Armed Police Forces are often deployed in inhospitable terrain to perform their duties with the risk of lives and personal inconvenience. Acknowledging their hard work in maintaining the internal security of the Country, MHA has decided to assist the serving and retired personnel of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Central Police Organisations and State Police Forces and their families.
The Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar, established in 2006, currently has 119 Master Bhandars and more than 1700 subsidiary Bhandars all over India. These outlets provide goods at cheaper prices to the force personnel.
