Vaibhav Suryavanshi, just 14 years old, delivered a breathtaking performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025, scoring a List A century in only 36 balls against Arunachal Pradesh. This marks the second fastest List A century in Indian cricket history.
The match, played at the JSCA Oval Ground in Ranchi, saw Suryavanshi dominate bowlers with an aggressive approach usually seen in T20 cricket, despite playing a 50-over format. His innings has set a new benchmark for young cricketers across the country.
A 36-Ball Century and Explosive Knock
Suryavanshi’s innings came just days after a disappointment in the U19 Asia Cup final against Pakistan, showing remarkable resilience. In this innings, he scored 190 runs off 84 balls, smashing 16 fours and 15 sixes.

This performance also makes him the youngest centurion in List A cricket, announcing his arrival on the international cricketing radar in spectacular style.
