Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has failed to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with its investigation into the alleged illegal betting platform 1xBet.
According to sources, the ED had summoned Yuvraj Singh for questioning regarding his reported association with the controversial betting app. The agency is probing allegations of money laundering and financial irregularities linked to the platform, which is banned in India.
Despite being issued a notice, Singh did not turn up on the scheduled date. Officials said fresh summons may be issued soon, as the ED continues to gather evidence in the high-profile case involving multiple celebrities and influencers.
