Berhampur: A youth was trampled to death by a wild elephants at Shetamunaduli village under Tarasingh forest range in Ghumusara forest division in Bhanjanagar here.
The deceased has been identified as Pabitra Patra.
According to reports, Patra was attacked by wild elephants, who hadentered the village for food, late last night. He was rushed to Bhanjanagar government hospital where he was declared dead.
A case of unnatural death has been registered and the body was handed to family members after post-mortem.
