The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has introduced a new Online Application Portal, aimed at streamlining the registration and application process for all its examinations.
The redesigned portal, available at https://upsconline.nic.in, features four main sections:
-
Account Creation
-
Universal Registration
-
Common Application Form
-
Examination-Specific Details
Candidates can fill out the first three sections at any time, allowing them to be pre-registered and ready to apply when specific exam notifications are released. Only the fourth section, which includes exam notices and application submissions, needs to be completed during the designated application window.
The new system replaces the previous One-Time Registration (OTR) module, which is no longer valid. All applicants must register afresh on the new portal and upload necessary documents accordingly.
To enable faster and more secure verification, candidates are strongly encouraged to use their Aadhaar Card as the primary ID document during the registration process.
The portal goes live on May 28, 2025, and will be used for upcoming exams, including CDS-II 2025 and NDA & NA-II 2025, which are also being notified on the same day.
Detailed instructions are provided on the portal to guide candidates through every step of the application process.
