Jajpur: An under-construction bridge of the National Highway-16 caved in Panikoili area of Jajpur district.
Locals alleged the bridge collapsed due to poor quality work. Also, safety rules have been violated when the bridge was being constructed.
However, no loss of life was reported in the mishap.
As the construction work was not underway at the site.
Meanwhile, the vehicular movement on the route remained unaffected because of an existing bypass road.
