The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced that the results for the UGC NET June 2025 cycle will be declared on July 22.
This year’s exam, held from June 25 to June 29 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, saw participation from approximately 6.84 lakh candidates across 85 subjects, underscoring the intense competition.
The UGC NET serves as a qualifying exam for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor roles in Indian higher education institutions.
How to Check the UGC NET June 2025 Result
Candidates can follow these steps to access their scorecards on July 22:

- Log in using Application Number, Date of Birth (or password), and security pin
- View and download the scorecard
- Save and print for future reference
The scorecard will include paper-wise marks, total score, merit status, and cutoff marks for both JRF and Assistant Professor eligibility.
What Comes Next
Following the release of the final answer key and cutoff lists, qualified candidates will be listed in the merit list. These candidates will be eligible for Assistant Professor roles, JRF, or both. No further objections will be entertained once the results are published.
