Boudh: Two persons were killed while two others sustained critical injuries in a road mishap on Mahanadi Bridge in Boudh district.
The identities of the deceased were not known immediately.
According to reports, the incident took place when a speeding car collided head-on with a bike and a scooter on Mahanadi Bridge in Boudh. Subsequently, the scooter rider died on the spot and three others including the car driver and two bike riders sustained critical injuries.
The injured persons were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Boudh for immediate care. Later they were shifted to Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla as their health condition deteriorated.
On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe into the matter.
