Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch, Bhubaneswar, with the help of Balasore district police seized over 1kg of brown sugar near Balasore railway station under Sahadevkhunta Police Station in Balasore district on Monday.
The arrested accused have been identified as Sk Raju and Amzad Khan
Acting on intelligence input, the officials conducted a raid against the illegal dealing or possession of Narcotic Drugs and arrested two peddlers.
The cops have also seized brown sugar weighing 01 kg 060 gm, One Hero CD Delux M/C and other incriminating materials were recovered and seized from their possession.
Following this, a case was registered and further investigation is on.
A special drive against narcotic drugs is continuing. Since 2020, STF has seized more than 60 Kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin, 202 Gram Cocaine and more than 111 quintals of Ganja/Marijuana, Opium 750 gram and arrested more than 162 drug dealers/peddlers.
