In 2025, India will experience a rare celestial event with a full lunar eclipse on September 7-8, which will be the only eclipse visible from the country that year.
There will be two solar eclipses and two lunar eclipses globally. Indian skywatchers will miss the earlier events, including a total lunar eclipse in March and a partial solar eclipse later that month.
The September lunar eclipse will be visible from 8:58 PM to 2:25 AM, turning the moon into a deep red colour. This event is not only exciting for astronomy enthusiasts but is also rare in astrology. Following this, another solar eclipse will occur on September 21-22, but it won’t be visible in India. The next notable total solar eclipse will take place in 2026, making the September 2025 lunar eclipse a must-see for those interested in celestial events.
