Television actor Anuj Sachdeva, best known for his roles in Phir Subah Hogi and Itti Si Khushi, was allegedly attacked with a rod near his residence in Goregaon West, Mumbai, following a dispute over wrongful parking. The incident, which also endangered his pet dog, has sparked widespread concern after the actor shared a video of the attack on social media.

What Happened to Anuj Sachdeva?

According to Anuj, the incident occurred after he reported a car that was parked incorrectly in his housing society. He claimed that the individual responsible for the vehicle confronted him aggressively and assaulted both him and his pet dog with a metal rod.

In a post shared on Instagram, Anuj stated that he was bleeding from his head after being struck. The video he posted shows an agitated man approaching him with a rod, verbally abusing and threatening him, before physically attacking him.

Security Guard Intervenes

The situation reportedly escalated rapidly until a security guard intervened and restrained the attacker, pulling him away from the actor. The video ends with Anuj visibly injured, explaining what had transpired.

“I am posting this evidence before this person tries to do any further harm to me, my dog, or my property,” Anuj wrote in his caption, urging people to share the video so that appropriate action could be taken.

Industry and Public React

The post quickly went viral, drawing strong reactions from fellow actors and fans alike. Several celebrities expressed concern and urged Anuj to take legal action.

Actor Ridhima Pandit commented, “This person needs to be put behind bars. How dare he!”
Actor Nauheed Cyrusi wrote, “Are you okay? He clearly needs help.”
Actor Karan Mehra added, “OMG bro, hope you are alright. Please take action.”

Many social media users also encouraged the actor to file a formal police complaint.

No Further Update Yet

As of now, Anuj Sachdeva has not shared an update regarding police action or his medical condition. The incident has reignited discussions around resident safety, accountability, and conflict resolution in housing societies.
