Tokyo: Indian Boxer Lovlina Borgohain went down to Turkey’s Surmeneli Busenaz in the semifinal of the 69 Kg weight category to win a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
Borgohain suffers a 5-0 defeat at the hands of World No. 1 Busenaz to bow out with a bronze medal to her name.
While the Indian kept her guard down, in the bid to land some powerful punches, the Turkish pugilist made her experience and ability count as Busenaz continued with her dominance over Lovlina.
