Bhadrak: Three minor girls were critically injured after some country-made bombs kept in a bag exploded at Trikokna village under Bant police limits of Bhadrak district on Monday.
According to reports, some children were playing in the village today afternoon when they spotted an abandoned bag in the bushes. When they pulled out the bag, they found several unexploded bombs inside.
Soon afterwards, the bombs exploded leaving three children critically injured while some others escaped unhurt by a whisker.
Immediately, the injured were rushed to a health centre at Bant. They were later shifted to the district headquarters hospital in Bhadrak for further treatment.
