The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a victory parade in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to celebrate Team India’s triumph in the T20 World Cup in Barbados.
After being stranded in Barbados for three days due to a hurricane, the Indian men’s cricket team is scheduled to arrive in Delhi on Thursday.
The celebratory parade will take place at Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium, commemorating India’s victory with a score of 176/7 in their 20 overs.
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announced the parade marking the event for July 4th at 5 pm in Mumbai. This event mirrors the 2007 victory parade held when Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led India to their first T20 championship.
