India’s semiconductor ambitions are set to shine at SEMICON India 2025, held from 2nd to 4th September at Yashobhoomi (IICC), New Delhi.
The event will feature over 300 companies from 18 nations, making it one of the country’s largest-ever showcases of microelectronics innovation and strategic partnerships.
Under the leadership of the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) and organised jointly with SEMI, the fourth edition will pioneer several firsts — including International Pavilions from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia, alongside eight Country Roundtables focused on bilateral collaboration.
A major thrust this year is on workforce development and skilling. Training and career mentoring for students and engineers will be introduced, complemented by a dedicated Semiconductor Design Startup Pavilion — empowering India’s next-gen chip designers. Notably, nine State Government Pavilions will participate, up from six in 2024.
As global supply chains evolve, this event positions India as a trusted and competitive semiconductor hub, aligned with the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision. The three-day conference will bring together CXOs and industry leaders to discuss manufacturing, tech innovations, and policy outlooks.
