In a move aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and addressing existing vacancies, the Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, has issued a transfer order for key personnel in the ranks of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and Inspector.
The Circular Order (C.O. No. 1584/CP-Personnel), dated December 15, 2025, directs the immediate transfer and posting of three officers, pending approval from the Police Establishment Board (PEB). The changes are being implemented keeping in view vacancies, administrative requirements, and the broader interest of public service.
Key Transfers:
- Satyarangan Pradhan, OPS (presently ACP I/C Nayapali Police Station, Bhubaneswar UPD) has been posted to Headquarters, Bhubaneswar UPD.
- Inspector Stalin Biswal (presently IIC Jatni Police Station, Bhubaneswar UPD) has been transferred as IIC Nayapali Police Station, Bhubaneswar UPD.
- Inspector Manas Kumar Sahoo (presently at C.P. Headquarters, Bhubaneswar – In-situ Inspector, Capital P.S., Bhubaneswar UPD) has been posted as IIC Jatni Police Station, Bhubaneswar UPD.
The order emphasises immediate relief of the officers to ensure a smooth transition.
