A brutal murder rocked Rayagada on the auspicious day of Ganesh Puja, as 26-year-old Rohit Thapa was found dead near the local fire station.
The victim, a resident of Harijan Sahi behind Rayagada Women’s College, was reportedly attacked due to past enmity.
According to initial reports, Rohit’s body was discovered near the steps close to the Rayagada Fire Station. His family rushed him to the Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
