Rayagada: Excise officials seized over 250 kg of ganja in Rayagada district while the contraband was being smuggled to Bhubaneswar.
Acting on a tip-off, Excise Department personnel conducted a raid and eventually confiscated the narcotics item from Khaliguda while it was being illegally transported to Bhubaneswar.
The 258 kg ganja is estimated to be worth around Rs 13 lakh.
One person has also been apprehended for alleged connection with the illegal trade.
