Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to witness heavy rainfall and thunderstorm in the next 24 hours, informed the Indian Meteorological Department’s (IMD) regional centre.
According to IMD’s bulletin, “Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Bargarh, Sambalpur and Angul.”
Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati and Boudh, it added.
People in these districts have been advised to move to safe place.
