Keeping in mind the Covid-19 situation, the Republic Day celebrations will be a low-key affair in the state as the state government has discouraged large gatherings and the participation of general public or school students in events.
Republic Day has been celebrated every year in India on January 26, since 1950 to honour the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect.
