In anticipation of the upcoming Kartik Brata 2025, Superintendent of Police (SP) Puri Prateek Singh chaired a high-level preparatory meeting with senior officers to review security and logistical arrangements.
Puri Police reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring safety, security, and smooth conduct of the month-long religious activities. The meeting focused on crowd management, traffic control, emergency response readiness, and coordination with temple authorities and civic bodies.

- Deployment of additional police personnel across key locations
- Installation of CCTV surveillance and drone monitoring
- Medical aid stations and fire safety protocols
- Streamlined traffic routes and parking zones for pilgrims
- Coordination with volunteers and temple servitors
Singh emphasized that the force remains dedicated to providing a peaceful and spiritually enriching experience for all devotees. The Kartik Brata, culminating in Rasa Purnima, is expected to witness a surge in footfall, especially during Habisha meal distributions and Kartika Deepa rituals.
