Highlighting recent disasters like the earthquake affecting Myanmar and Thailand, the Prime Minister called for enhanced disaster management collaboration. He also stressed the importance of regional security, capacity building, and youth empowerment in shaping BIMSTEC’s future. Cultural linkages, PM Modi noted, could serve as a vital bridge connecting the nations even closer.
PM Modi concluded with a call to action, urging nations to deepen engagement within BIMSTEC for the greater global good.
