Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the newly appointed youth and distribute over 51,000 appointment letters on July 12 under the government’s Rozgar Mela initiative.
The event, scheduled for 11:00 AM via video conferencing, will mark the 16th edition of the nationwide employment drive.
Rozgar Mela is a flagship programme aimed at fast-tracking job opportunities for Indian youth across central ministries and departments. With over 10 lakh appointment letters already distributed in previous melas, this initiative continues to reflect the Centre’s commitment to empowering the younger generation through gainful public sector employment.
The July 12 Mela will be held at 47 locations across the country and will include newly recruited personnel in Ministries such as Railways, Home Affairs, Health & Family Welfare, Financial Services, Labour & Employment, and Posts.
PM Modi is expected to address the appointees directly, encouraging them to contribute proactively to India’s development and reinforcing the role of youth in nation-building.
