As the assembly elections in Delhi approach, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold two public meetings over the next two weeks.
On December 29, he will lay the foundation stone for a new metro line in Rithala and will subsequently speak at a public gathering at Japanese Park in Rohini. The Delhi BJP is gearing up for a significant turnout at this meeting, with the state unit instructing all Mandal presidents to bring at least two buses filled with attendees from the Nazafgarh and South Delhi regions, aiming to connect with voters in these areas.
Three BJP MPs—Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Yogendra Chandolia, and Ramvir Singh Bidhuri—have been appointed to oversee the event. Following that, on January 3, Modi will inaugurate several projects in Northeast Delhi, which is represented by BJP MP Manoj Tiwari. One highlight of this event will be the unveiling of the new Delhi-Saharanpur highway.
Sources within the party indicate that Modi might announce a ‘Modi ki Guarantee’ for the women of Delhi during his public address. The Election Commission is yet to announce the polling dates for Delhi, which are anticipated to be revealed in the second week of January.
