Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Angolan President Joao Manuel Goncalves Lourenco at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
The discussions, attended by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, focused on strengthening India-Africa relations, with an emphasis on economic and strategic partnerships.
The meeting underscores India’s commitment to fostering deeper collaboration with Angola, an important partner on the African continent. Both leaders highlighted the need for enhanced trade, investment, and technological cooperation, aiming to drive mutual growth and development.
Following the discussions, Modi and Lourenco expressed optimism about the future of India-Angola relations, emphasising the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement.
