Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda today to a grand welcome by dignitaries.

His visit marks a historic moment for Odisha, as he is set to unveil and dedicate development projects worth over Rs 60,000 crore across key sectors.

The Prime Minister will address the massive youth gathering at the ‘Namo Yuva Samabesh’ held at Amalipali Ground. During his 90-minute visit, he will inaugurate the Sambalpur City flyover, flag off the Amrit Bharat Express from Berhampur to Surat, and dedicate railway doubling projects in Koraput.

In a major boost to telecom infrastructure, PM Modi will commission over 97,500 BSNL 4G towers, many of which are solar-powered, connecting 26,700 remote villages and serving over 20 lakh new subscribers. He will also unveil BSNL’s indigenous 4G stack, paving the way for India’s self-reliance in advanced telecom technology.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for a semiconductor and ESDM park in Bhubaneswar and announce the expansion of eight IITs, adding capacity for 10,000 students and establishing cutting-edge research parks.

Additionally, he will launch a National Skill Development Programme and distribute approval letters to 50,000 families under the Antyodaya Housing Scheme. Folk artists and thousands of attendees have gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion, which promises to reshape Odisha’s development landscape.
