New Delhi: In a significant move to boost employment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in various government departments and organizations. The distribution was conducted via video conferencing as part of the Rozgar Mela initiative.
The Rozgar Mela, held across 45 locations nationwide, aims to provide meaningful employment opportunities to the youth, empowering them to contribute to nation-building. The new recruits will join various central government ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and Department of Financial Services.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi emphasized the government’s commitment to employment generation and the importance of youth participation in the country’s development. He highlighted that the Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling this commitment, providing a platform for young individuals to embark on their professional journeys.
The initiative is part of the broader Aatmanirbhar Bharat package, which aims to stimulate business opportunities and enhance employment prospects across various sectors. The government continues to prioritize filling vacant posts in a mission mode, ensuring that employment generation remains a key focus.
