Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the Union Budget 2025-26, calling it a “Janta Janardan Ka Budget”, emphasizing its focus on public welfare and economic growth. He praised Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting a budget that prioritizes inclusive development, infrastructure expansion, and social security.
In his statement, PM Modi highlighted key initiatives aimed at empowering farmers, youth, and the middle class. He lauded the enhanced Kisan Credit Card (KCC) loan limit, the establishment of Atal Tinkering Labs, the Urban Challenge Fund, and expanded medical and AI education facilities.
The Prime Minister also pointed out the budget’s focus on strengthening healthcare, skilling initiatives, and boosting digital infrastructure. He stated that the provisions will accelerate India’s economic growth while ensuring opportunities for all sections of society.
Calling it a “budget for the people, by the people, and of the people,” PM Modi expressed confidence that it would lead India towards Viksit Bharat (Developed India) 2047 and bring prosperity to every household.
