Bolangir: A parcel delivery boy was killed after the motorcycle he was driving was hit by a car near Tusura police station in Bolangir district today.
The deceased youth has been identified as Shrikant Bhoi. He was working as a delivery boy for Flipkart.
Reportedly, Shrikant was en route to Risida from Tusura, when a speeding vehicle hit his motorcycle. While Shrikant died on the spot, the car driver Daniel Pattnaik sustained critical injuries due to the impact of the accident.
Immediately, the injured person was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Later, he was shifted to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital (BBMCH) as his health condition deteriorated.
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem.
