Pakistan has decided to extend its ban on Indian flights from using its airspace for another month, according to reports from Geo News.
This decision follows last month’s restriction, which was imposed after India’s response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22.
The initial ban was set to expire on May 23, as per International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) regulations, which limit airspace restrictions to a one-month duration. However, Pakistani authorities are expected to formally announce the extension through a Notice to Airmen (Notam) soon.
This move continues to impact international flight routes, requiring airlines to find alternative paths for travel between India and key global destinations.
