The Nuh Police have arrested another individual suspected of espionage for Pakistan, marking the second such arrest in just two days.

Officials confirmed that Mohammad Tarif, a resident of Kangarka village in Taoru tehsil, was apprehended amid an ongoing investigation into the alleged spy network operating in the region.

This arrest follows the detention of Armaan, a Rajaka village resident, who was earlier held for sharing sensitive military information with an official from the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi. Authorities have registered cases against multiple suspects, including employees of the Pakistani High Commission, as part of a broader effort to dismantle the espionage network.

Since the launch of Operation Sindoor, nine individuals have been arrested across different states on similar charges, raising concerns over national security threats posed by such networks. Law enforcement agencies continue to pursue leads, tightening their grip on suspected operatives involved in intelligence leaks.

Officials emphasise that counter-espionage operations will persist, with stringent legal actions against those jeopardising national security. As investigations unfold, the authorities remain vigilant in their mission to safeguard critical information from foreign interference.
