Jaipur: The Om-shaped Lord Shiva temple is soon going to be ready in the Jadan Village of Rajasthan’s Pali, after nearly three decades since the laying of the foundation stone. This would be the first such temple in the world.
The Om-shaped or the ‘Om Aakar’ temple is being constructed across a sprawling 250 acres of land in Jadan and over 400 people have been working on the same.
The foundation stone of the grand temple was laid in the year 1995. The construction of the temple is expected to be completed by 2023-24.
Swami Maheshwaranand Maharaj, who has devotees from across the globe, said this temple in the shape of Om is the first of its kind in the world.
This temple will have 1,008 idols of Lord Mahadev and 12 Jyotirlingas. Standing tall at 135 feet, the temple will be built on 2,000 pillars with 108 rooms on the premises. The tomb of Guru Madhavanand ji will be made at the centre.
