Odisha Vigilance has intensified its crackdown on Rama Chandra Nepak, Deputy Ranger-cum-Incharge Ranger of Jeypore Forest Range, following allegations of possessing disproportionate assets.
The raids, launched early Friday across six locations in Jeypore and Bhubaneswar, were conducted by a team comprising 6 DSsP, 5 Inspectors, 9 ASIs, and supporting staff under search warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge, Jeypore.
Key recoveries so far include:

Rs 1.44 crore in unaccounted cash found hidden in a secret vault at his Flat No. 510, Golden Height Residential Apartment, Jeypore.

4 gold biscuits and 16 gold coins (10 grams each).

Earlier, Rs 3.5 lakh in cash was recovered during the initial phase of the search.
The searches are ongoing with counting machines deployed for cash verification and weighment of gold in progress.

A building on paternal land at NKT Road, PR Petta, Jeypore.

Flats No. 510 and 511 at Golden Height Residential Apartment, Jeypore.

A flat belonging to his brother at UMS Bhagabati Mansion, Bhubaneswar.

His in-laws’ residence at Sombar Tota, Jeypore.

His office chamber at Jeypore Forest Range.
A team of six DSsP, five Inspectors, nine ASIs, and other staff seized Rs 3.5 lakh in unaccounted cash during the searches.
