Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health Director Bijay Panigrahy on Friday informed that the COVID-19 vaccination will be carried out only three days a week at Community Health Centres (CHCs) across the State.
Panigrahi said, “We have decided to carry out vaccination at Community Health Centres (CHC) only three days a week– i.e on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday every week. There will be no vaccination on Sunday.”
Similarly, the immunisation drive will be carried out every day except holidays at government and private medical colleges, he added.
Panigrahi further stated that Odisha will receive 1,49,760 Covaxin doses within a week which will be used in Bhubaneswar only.
As per the plans, 44,880 health workers were vaccinated in 436 sessions yesterday, while as many as 20 districts reported 100 per cent vaccination.
