Bhubaneswar: Odisha has sent 9466 MT of medical oxygen to 11 states in the last 18 days. According to the latest data by the Odisha Police, 516 tankers carrying about 9466 MT of medical oxygen have been dispatched from the State.

Based on the directive of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, a Special Cell was formed under ADG (L&O) Y K Jethwa as the Nodal Officer for coordinated action for loading and transportation of medical oxygen by Odisha to States facing deficit.
A Dedicated Corridor has been set up with round-the-clock monitoring. District SsP/DCsP and Range DIG/IG/CP are supervising the movement personally within their jurisdictions.
