The Government of Odisha’s School and Mass Education Department has announced a significant reshuffle of its top officials, effective immediately.
This move, detailed in a notification dated today, involves key transfers and postings under Foreign Service terms and conditions, aiming to strengthen the state’s education administration.
Amulya Kumar Padhan, a Senior Officer (OES(SB)(Group A) (SAG)) and Regional Deputy Education Director (RDE) of Sambalpur, has been appointed as the Vice President of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, Cuttack.
In another notable shift, Chakradhar Behera, previously under transfer as Assistant District Education Officer (ADEO) in Nabarangpur, is now the Deputy Controller of BSE, Odisha, Cuttack. He will also hold the additional charge of Controller until further orders, with his earlier posting cancelled vide Notification No.10109/SME, dated July 7, 2025.
Smt. Amrita Pritinanda, the Controller of Examinations at BSE, Odisha, Cuttack, has been transferred to the role of Joint Director at the State Institute of Learning and Training for Teachers (SILTT) in Bhubaneswar. This move cancels the additional charge previously assigned to Sri Govinda Chandra Hembram as Assistant Director at SILTT, as per Notification No.15307/SME, dated June 4, 2025.
This reshuffle is seen as a strategic step to enhance efficiency and leadership within Odisha’s education sector.
