Odisha’s Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has released the third phase selection report for Plus Two admissions for the 2025-26 academic year, confirming 10,576 students have been selected.
Among the selected candidates, 8,587 are fresh applicants who did not participate in earlier phases. This surge highlights growing interest and outreach in the state’s higher secondary education system.
The Arts stream saw the highest number of selections, with 6,584 students securing seats. Science followed with 2,439 selections, while Sanskrit recorded 946, Commerce 416, and Vocational stream 191. These figures reflect the continuing popularity of Arts among Odisha’s youth.
Gender distribution remained nearly balanced. A total of 5,369 boys and 5,207 girls were selected, indicating a healthy representation of female students in the current admission cycle.
The Odisha Plus Two Admission process continues to evolve, offering opportunities to both returning and first-time applicants. The inclusion of a large number of new candidates suggests improved accessibility and awareness across districts.
