Bhubaneswar: While Odisha is reeling under scorching heat, the nor ‘wester (Kalbaishakhi) is likely to remain active over Odisha for the next four to five days.
Reportedly, the nor ‘wester is likely to remain active following which rainfall and thunderstorm with strong gusty winds may occur in several parts of the State.
This has been predicted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
As per available reports, Coastal Odisha is likely to witness a drop of 2 degrees Celsius in the maximum temperature in the next two days. After two days, the maximum temperature is likely to drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in Interior Odisha.
